 | The Sixth International Workshop on Logics and Argumentation for New-Generation Artificial Intelligence
LNGAI 2026
Artificial intelligence needs to reason with information that is incomplete, uncertain or conflicting, and to explain the grounds of its research on non-monotonic logics and formal argumentation addressing these challenges.
Its nine papers explore logical foundations and norm-governed reasoning; collective and quantitative argumentation under change; and the use of large language models in argument mining, legal rule extraction and explainable text classification. Topics range from proof-theoretic foundations and modal logic to the dynamics of argumentation and the analysis of natural-language sources.
Together, the contributions examine how formal reasoning and language-based AI can support the construction, evaluation and explanation of arguments.
