Logics for New-Generation AI 2025

Fifth International Workshop. 1-5 December 2025, Luxembourg

Beishui Liao, Antonino Rotolo, Leendert van der Torre and Liuwen Yu, eds

Artificial intelligence is rapidly branching into exciting new areas — agentic AI, explainable AI, ethical AI, and knowledge-based AI among them. Alongside these developments, researchers are exploring powerful ways of reasoning: from uncovering causes and consequences, to weighing
norms and values, to building arguments and making sense of vast knowledge graphs.

But in today’s open and ever-changing world, reasoning faces tough challenges: how to
work with information that is incomplete or uncertain, how to resolve confl icts, and how
to explain the results in ways people can truly understand. The papers in this volume
highlight fresh advances and insights into tackling these challenges.
