Neural Computing and Artificial Intelligence

Editor: Artur d’Avila Garcez

Neural Computing is a new book series encompassing post-graduate and research-level texts. The series covers the multidisciplinary spectrum of neural information processing: computational neuroscience, learning algorithms and theory, image processing, cognitive science and artificial intelligence, neuro-symbolic computation, control and reinforcement learning, signal processing and applications.

Some application areas include training and simulation, fault diagnosis, bioinformatics, fraud prevention and the web. Special emphasis is placed on accessible interdisciplinary material combining two or more aspects of neural computation. Post-graduate texts provide students with an affordable resource for learning; research-level books address challenging topics in an accessible way.
