Texts in Logic and Reasoning
Series edited by Leendert van der Torre and Xavier Parent
Texts in Logic and Reasoning is a textbook series for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Each volume is written as a basic introduction to a given topic in logic and reasoning, of high relevance to various disciplines. The textbook itself has a focus on theory rather than application. It also contains numerous exercises with solutions.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to, the following: modal logic ; non-monotonic logic ; conditional logic, intuitionistic logic ; substructural (e.g. linear) logic; Belief-Desire-Intention (BDI) logic ; logic for multi-agent systems ; game logic ; deontic logic ; judgment aggregation ; voting theory ; belief revision ; preference logic ; description logic ; dynamic epistemic logic.
Authors interested in publishing a textbook in this series should, in the first instance, send a proposal (including a table of contents) to Jane Spurr for consideration by the editors.
