History of Logic

History of Logic is a subseries of College Publications' omnibus series Studies in Logic. It publishes high-quality research monographs, edited collections, and conference proceedings on all matters pertaining to logics of the past in the Western, Chinese and Arabic traditions, including but not limited to the following: scholarly investigations of historical figures, of their influence or otherwise on the development of logic, not excluding logics of the present day, comparisons between and among different historical systems, and their success or otherwise in anticipating subsequent logics. The range covered by History of Logic extends from respective beginnings to present-day developments. Also welcome would be comprehensive examinations of the evolution of a given logician's or movement's contributions, even of quite recent times. What counts here is more the quality of an author's submission than its tidy slotability into some pre-determined niche.
